I grew up in neighboring Denville and spent time at Deer Lake as a guest of a member family. I also helped run the snack stand here many summers ago, making this special place feel like a full-circle experience for me.

I’m an avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout who enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing. I have a particular interest in backcountry cooking; you can even build a surprisingly durable oven using a cardboard box, tin foil, and charcoal.

My favorite tool is a Leatherman, and my watercraft of choice is an aluminum canoe. In my free time, you’ll usually find me in the workshop tinkering or relaxing around a campfire.
